Friends, creatives, and collaborators, I have some big news to share with you:
The new studio for TJ Callaway Audio is now complete and open for mixing!
This @suffolkstudiodesign designed studio was made specifically for audio post-production for Film, TV, and advertising. The 320 square foot mix room is equipped with a Genelec 5.1 surround speaker system, an Avid MTRX Studio interface, Avid control surfaces, and is ready to mix for broadcast, cinema, and other formats.
The booth is well suited for voice over & narration. Directly behind the mixing position in the floor are three trap door Foley pits. The left wall has built-in cabinets for Foley prop storage. The studio floors are floated, and all audio equipment is on isolated electrical circuits. Each entrance of the studio has a double door sound lock space for additional isolation. The doors are solid-core studio doors with acoustic seals. Four acoustic clouds on the ceiling run the length of the room for additional treatment and include speaker mounting boxes for an eventual upgrade to Atmos. Five diffusors balance out the room’s low end on the back wall.
Video is displayed on the front wall with a 75” display. There is WiFi and comfortable seating for clients, directors, producers, and other collaborators to make it an inviting and creative space to work in. Message me for an in-person tour.
