75 years is a lot of history to mess with. So naturally, we messed with it.
This back-to-school season, we reintroduced the classic World’s Finest Chocolate brand with a wholesome kind of swagger.
And apparently we messed with it in the right way: Ad Age just named the campaign one of its 9 campaigns to know about today.
My favorite part of putting this together was discovering LSU running back Harlem Berry and UCLA wide receiver Leland Smith. Both took part in World’s Finest Chocolate fundraisers as kids, and both showed up to share their World’s Finest stories.
We’re not saying they became elite athletes because they sold World’s Finest Chocolate as kids. But we’re not not saying that either.
Worth noting: we were only three months into starting this agency when we found ourselves setting up NIL deals. Just sayin’, you don’t have to be big to do big things.
Speaking of big…
Big thanks to the entire World’s Finest® Chocolate team, and especially Allison Kapp for being an incredible leader, partner and friend.
Big thanks to Josh Woods at GuardNIL for making the NIL deals happen.
Big thanks to Harlem Berry (Geaux Tigers) and Leland Smith. Can’t wait to watch them dominate the season.
And big thanks to the The Board of Directors: Brandon Tapp, EP; Adam Littke, Director; Alex Heisterkamp, Editor; Kendall Kendall, Post EP;
Last but definitely not least, my compadres Bennie Reed and Daniel Beaudoing
P.S. This also marks my first time designing a letter jacket.
