AdChat DFW visited the red carpet for the 12th Annual Dallas International Film Festival and had the opportunity to interview both the director and the leading man for The Iron Orchard. Ty Roberts, the film’s director, gave us an in-depth perspective on the main character, Jim McNeely and his struggle to balance ambition, love and ultimate happiness. Additionally Lane Garrison, a Dallas native who played McNeely, fills in more about his complex character.
“The Iron Orchard” is the story of Jim McNeely, a young man thrust into the vibrant and brutal west Texas oilfields circa 1939 who works his way through the ranks to ultimately become a formidable wildcatter.
The show premiered Saturday May 5th @ The Magnolia.
