The AAF Dallas ADDYs are over, but we are still basking in the glow of the talent that won the awards. This year, with AAF Dallas President, Deja Sanders, VP Elisa Silva and Gala Chair, Laurel McEuen, at the helm, the sold-out event welcomed us with a particularly cool vibe. All the vendors used were either minority owned, female-owned or LGBTQ+ friendly.
The flash and glamour of attendees was matched by the mind-blowing campaigns that won our hearts and also buckets of awards falling into six local categories:
1. The Dallas Foodie

2. Corporate Creative
The CC award is for the best of advertising created in-house in Dallas. This can be in any media format.
3. The Dallas Holly

4. The Extreme Makeover Award

Two additional awards that were awarded, include The Suits Award honoring ambassadors of creative work, and The Mosaic Award, celebrating diversity and inclusion. This year’s Mosaic Award went to TRG. See more.
More awards included Educator of the Year awarded to SMU Professor, Gordon Law, and Client of the Year that went to Greg Artkop with Coca-Cola Southwest Beverage.
Tracy-Locke was the advertising agency who produced all the show’s artwork and also a vast array of social media content leading up to the event.
AdChat DFW’s Patty Harrison was there to nab some interviews prior to the show. Check it out.
DHD Films produced the jaw-dropping video that launched the show. It was a love letter to the Dallas advertising and marketing community and highlighted not only the immense growth of our industry but the incredibly bright future that lies ahead.
Shezad Manjee, Founder and Creative Director of DHD, shared, “As a third-generation filmmaker, I’m always on the lookout for stories that dare to be bold. When I spoke with Deja, I knew I had found someone who shared that same passion. Her unapologetically brave vision for AAF Dallas left a lasting impression on me. It was clear that she wasn’t afraid to speak her mind and take risks.
Partnering with AAF Dallas was a no-brainer for our team. How could we not give back to an organization that has contributed so much to the creative landscape of our city for over a century. I’m excited to see what the future holds for this partnership and the impact we can make together.”
