Irving-based Kimberly-Clark was founded in 1872 in Neenah, Wisconsin. The company’s first business was operating paper mills, and it went on to develop iconic brands such as Huggies®, Kotex®, Kleenex®, Scott®, Depend® and Cottonelle®. Its essential products are an indispensable part of life for people around the globe, and ¼ of the world’s population uses one of its products every day. Known for its rich history of innovation, the company invented five of its eight major consumer product categories.
The company’s marketing is led by Zena Arnold, Global Chief Digital & Marketing Officer. She joined the company in early 2020 after extensive stints at Fortune 500 companies such as GE, Kellogg’s, Procter & Gamble and Google. AdChat DFW’s Editor-in-Chief, Patty Harrison, had the pleasure of interviewing Ms. Arnold about her career, the era of consumer data privacy, the role of marketing as Kimberly-Clark continues driving toward its 2030 sustainability goals, and the company’s digital transformation.
