Camp Lucky & TXMPA Hosts Roadshow to Explain the Future of Texas’s Film Incentives

Film and Television is poised to explode in Texas with a new bill providing 500 million in incentives every two years to make Texas the film capital of America.

Come hear the details from Fred Poston, the Executive Director of the Texas Media Production Alliance (TXMPA), on what it means for film in Texas, how it differs from previous years, and how you can help make your voice heard.

You’ll have a chance to connect with industry friends, engage with the production community, and learn about the future of Film and Television in Texas.

This event isn’t just about education; it’s also about ACTION!

We’ll be working with the TXMPA Communications team on their LoneStar Letters initiative. We’ll provide all the supplies so you can write and send letters to your representatives,     encouraging them to support the incentive bill. We’ll have paper, pens, envelopes, and stamps onsite so you can get your letter out!

At the DALLAS EVENT, you’ll also have the chance to hear from Katie Schuck, the new Dallas Film Commissioner, and learn a bit about the goals of Dallas and the importance of registering your projects with the city. 

We will be hosted by the incredible team at Camp Lucky Studios. Come see their incredible studio, multiple stages, and LED virtual production wall.
