And This Year’s Southwest Advertising Hall of Fame Governor’s Award Goes to… Moroch!

The  Southwest  Advertising  Hall  of  Fame  is  proud  to  announce  that  the   recipient  of  its  annual  “Governor’s  Award”  is  Moroch,  an  independent,  integrated  marketing   agency  based  in  Dallas,  TX.

The  Southwest  Advertising  Hall  of  Fame  is  sponsored  by  the  Tenth  District  of  the  American   Advertising  Federation  (AAF),  encompassing  Arkansas,  Louisiana,  Oklahoma  and  Texas.  The   “Governor’s  Award”  will  be  presented  at  the  ceremonial  Hall  of  Fame  induction  dinner  to  be   held  on  April  7,  2017  at  the  Hilton  Hotel  in  Fort  Worth,  Texas.  More  information  can  be  found   at  aaf10.org/evens.

The  AAF  Tenth  District’s  Southwest  Advertising  Hall  of  Fame  “Governor’s  Award”  is  presented   to  the  advertising  agency  who,  during  its  years  of  service,  has  distinguished  itself  through  work   produced  on  behalf  of  clients,  who  has  contributed  to  the  betterment  of  advertising  and  its   reputation,  and  who  has  made  volunteer  efforts  outside  the  workplace.

The  honoree’s  record  of  service  reflects  accomplishments  made  in  the  advertising  industry  in   the  United  States  and  is  located  in  the  four  state  area  of  the  Tenth  District  (Arkansas,   Louisiana,  Oklahoma  &  Texas).

The Dallas chapter of the American Advertising Federation is the oldest civic organization in Dallas and celebrated its 100th year anniversary in 2008. We are the only association that represents all facets of the advertising industry.

The birth of AAF Dallas can be traced back to 1908. During the past century, AAF Dallas has had a track record of making vital contributions to the local advertising community. Throughout our history, the League has worked with local advertising and city leaders to further the business of advertising and to provide personal and professional developments opportunities for our members.

AAF Dallas activities has been recognized nationally- we were the Division 1 (over 500 members) Club of the Year in 2010-2011 and in 2013 have been honored for our activities in programming, government relations, public service, diversity and multicultural initiatives, and communications.
