The Salvation Army Camp Hoblitzelle Announces First-Ever Summer Film Conservatory | Youth Ages 12-17

Camp Hoblitzelle, a 1,200-acre camp owned and operated by The Salvation Army, will present its first-ever Camp Hoblitzelle Film Conservatory (CHFC) the week of July 16-21, 2022, at its campus in Midlothian, Texas. Registration is now open to youth ages 12-17.

Attendees will receive hands-on experience in cinematography, producing and directing, design, and acting from industry-leading professionals on a working film production site. Camp Hoblitzelle serves as the host location of The Chosen, a multi-season series about the life of Jesus that was the highest crowd-funded project of all time and has been translated into 50 languages.

The Salvation Army Camp Hoblitzelle Film Conservatory partners include The Chosen, Out of Order Studios, and Jason Hildebrand Creative Arts.
