From Robocop to Bottle Rocket to Lioness, the world has seen Dallas on screen for generations. Those stories were built by Dallas crews, Texas actors, and Texas businesses. A federal film incentive would keep that work happening here and build the next generation of filmmakers. Add your name to the letter and stand with the people who bring Texas to the screen.
We Need Your Help to Pass an American Federal Film and TV Production Incentive
Dear Member of the Texas Film and Television Industry,
Every film and television project in Texas puts hundreds of our neighbors to work, from crew members to local vendors, hotels, restaurants, and small businesses. The wages, skills, and investment stay in our communities long after the cameras wrap.
Congress is now considering a federal film and television production incentive to bring more production back to the United States. Other countries have attracted productions with national incentives, and our U.S. state programs alone can’t compete. A federal incentive would keep this American industry at home and directly benefit Texans by creating jobs for local cast and crew, supporting local businesses, and strengthening our state’s growing film industry.
A broad coalition of unions, studios, producers, actors, directors, vendors, and film commissions is collecting letters of support from every state. Members of the Texas film & television industry are asking you to add your name to the letter below, addressed to the members of Congress representing Texas.
To sign, please fill out the form below. Please share this with others who live or have worked in Texas.
Your support can help build on the bipartisan momentum in Congress and bring more investment and good jobs to Texas.
Thank you.
Best,
