The Point Group, a leading marketing and communications agency, has taken home Platinum and Gold awards at the 2026 AVA Digital Awards for its standout website designs for The Kalla, a luxury event venue and Batbox, an innovative baseball simulator company, both based in Dallas.
“This recognition from the AVA Digital Awards underscores our agency’s strength in delivering visually compelling, strategically driven work that creates real impact for our clients,” said Susan Owen, president and CEO of Point.
The Point Group received the Platinum Award for Small Business Website for its work on The Kalla’s website. The website captures the venue’s timeless elegance while serving as a powerful growth tool for a small, owner-operated business. The website was built to attract new audiences and drive bookings across multiple event categories. From inspiring couples planning their dream wedding to showcasing the venue’s versatility for Diwali and Holi celebrations, corporate galas, and other private events, the site brings The Kalla to life online.
“Our website is often the first glimpse couples have of The Kalla, and The Point Group captured the elegance and warmth of our space beautifully,” said Dr. Deepti Kallam, owner of The Kalla Events. “The site tells our story in a way that is authentic to who we are, and this AVA Digital Award recognition affirms the impact that work has had on our business.”
The Gold award for business-to-consumer websites was presented for the Batbox website, reflecting the company’s dynamic approach to baseball entertainment. For Batbox’s Addison, Texas, venue opening, The Point Group delivered a website that captures the thrill of the game. The site immerses visitors in the Batbox experience while building credibility with potential business partners through straightforward navigation, strong copy, and strategic storytelling.

“The Point Group has been a true partner to Batbox at a pivotal stage of our growth. The team helped clarify our positioning and brought our vision to life through an engaging digital experience,” said Brandon Gabay, vice president of marketing at Batbox. “Their expertise, flexibility, and commitment made us feel like their top priority, and this AVA Digital Award recognition is a testament to the impact of that work.”
“Great creative work is about bringing a feeling to life,” said J Fredrick, chief creative officer of Point. “For The Kalla, that meant elegance and serenity; for Batbox, it was fun and high-energy. We start by defining what makes each client stand out and then translate that feeling into a digital experience audiences can instantly connect with.”
The AVA Digital Awards, administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), is an international competition that recognizes excellence in digital communication. These accolades highlight Point Group’s dedication to delivering high-quality digital experiences that resonate with audiences and set industry standards.
