This weekend, Ram Trucks released a Father’s Day video created in partnership with TRG and Charlie Uniform Tango.
“It was an opportunity to do something unexpected for Ram,” said TRG’s Greg Christensen, creative director on the account. “The Ram brand is tough, bold, a little gritty. But that doesn’t mean their messaging can’t melt your heart.”
“As a #GirlDad and Ram truck owner myself, this concept was near and dear to my heart,” said Jeff Summers, head of Ram brand advertising. “The exterior and interior features of our Ram trucks go beyond work life and are designed for all the lives our owners have – most importantly, their family lives.”
Directed by Tango’s Lan Freedman, the spot was shot locally. In addition to the Father’s Day message, an extra 41 feature shots were captured for Ram during the same production. As part of a turnkey solution, Tango included directors Andy Mahr and Ashton Rogers as the cinematographers, Adam Henderson as editor, and even an original score by Nick Patronella.
