Palate Films Creates Handmade Broadcast Spots for Raising Cane’s

Written by Christian Remde

Last spring, Dallas-based quick-service chain, Raising Cane’s, asked Houston agency Norton Creative to create three, 30-second broadcast spots highlighting their handmade chicken strips, Cane’s sauce and signature lemonade. Norton turned to Austin-based Palate Films, a food, travel and lifestyle-focused production and post-production house, to create the spots. Using high-speed photography, Palate Films was able to capture each step in Cane’s process, creating a signature look and feel for the brand that highlighted the handmade approach to their food.

Shooting over four days, Palate Films was also able to create a large library of additional footage for Cane’s to use in future spots as well as on social media and online. Norton’s Creative Director, Ashley Nuchia said, “The extremely talented team at Palate Films felt like an extension of our own team. We would recommend Palate Films to anyone in need of beautiful and innovative film solutions.”
