Digital Dallas and Accenture Digital Lead the Fun

The Grenada Theater was the venue for the second annual Digital Fight Club which pits digital technology experts against each other on controversial and undecided topics. They verbally duke it out in short “fights” that are over inside six minutes. Overseeing the event was a referee panel of technology professionals and celebrities including Mark Cuban, well-known local billionaire; Andrew Hopkins, Managing Director of Accenture Digital; Gurmeet Singh, Chief Digital Officer at 7-Eleven; Mo Katibeh, Chief Marketing Officer of AT&T Business, and Arnessa Garnett, Dallas Morning News Business Editor. Digital Fight Club is the brainchild of Michael Pratt, Digital Dallas Founder, and was sponsored by Accenture Digital.

This year’s topics included Artificial Intelligence, Driverless Cars, Smart Homes, Digital On-Demand Workforces and Digital Storytelling. It was an intriguing event filled with bright, futuristic minds touting to score the win judged by the referees and and the standing-room-only audience.

AdChat DFW was at the pre-show event and interviewed fighters and referees about their companies, their expertise and whether they thought they would win the fight.

More to come later on the actual fights.
