In 2021, My Hand My Cause sprouted from the minds of Dennis Murphy, a renowned advertising photographer, and Everett Wilder a sports and marketing professional. Their clients have included The Dallas Cowboys, Interstate Batteries, Nothing Bundt Cakes, American Airlines, Nike, Gatorade and dozens more. After COVID hit, these two pals had a lightbulb moment, realizing they could blend fan power with celebrity charm to do some real good in the world.
My Hand My Cause is in the 501(c)(3) non-profit business of capturing hands – not just any hands, but the hands of the movers and shakers in Sports, Music, Movies, Art, Medicine, Science, and beyond. Their celebrities include Dak Prescott, Dirk Nowitzki, Michael Pena, Tim Meadows and many more.
The company offers highly detailed, museum-quality photographs that showcase the essence of these incredible individuals. They produce life-size prints of their hands, complete with their autograph and the date it all went down. We’re talking about a piece of their legacy right in your hands!
AdChat DFW’s Editor-in-Chief, Patty Harrison, had the opportunity to sit down with Dennis Murphy to learn more about this remarkable undertaking.
