Melting Pot, Velvet Taco and Clean Juice tap Dallas-based agency
SPM Communications, a nationally ranked public relations, influencer, franchise development and issues management agency, celebrates three client wins as it continues to grow its restaurant PR practice.
Melting Pot, the original fondue restaurant, offers interactive fine dining experiences in nearly 100 locations across the U.S. as well as a CPG line of fondue kits for in-home enjoyment. As PR agency of record, SPM will develop social media content strategy, conduct media relations and celebrate the fondue brand’s golden anniversary.
SPM will also serve as PR agency of record for Velvet Taco, the taco rebel and cult favorite that is redefining and reinventing the category with imaginative, global flavors. The agency will support the growing brand with national, local and trade media relations, support new store openings and lead influencer relations.
Also joining the roster is Clean Juice, the first and only national USDA-certified organic juice bar franchise with 65 stores across 19 states. SPM will provide national and local-market media and influencer relations support to help continue building brand awareness after BRIX Holdings, LLC, a Dallas-based multi-brand company specializing in chains with superior products and attractive growth prospects, purchased the brand last spring.
“Our agency was founded on restaurant PR work, and 26 years later, we are still building on that expertise with unique brands with interesting stories to tell,” said Suzanne Miller, SPM founder and president. “The Melting Pot, Velvet Taco and Clean Juice represent the incredible diversity of the restaurant industry, which is what keeps this category and our work new and exciting.”
SPM specializes in consumer brands in the food, restaurant, retail, apparel, franchise, lifestyle and wellness, and beauty categories. Its client roster includes industry-leading brands such as Chuck E. Cheese, Camp Bow Wow, Gold’s Gym, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Utz Brands, Inc., and Shipley Do-Nuts, as well as growing emerging brands like DIG.
