Nature Nate’s Honey Celebrates Eight Years of Partnership with National Breast Cancer Foundation

Written by Nature Nates Honey

Nature Nate’s Honey Co., the number-one branded honey company in the U.S. and producer of 100% pure, raw & unfiltered honey, is supporting National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. (NBCF) this October during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For the eighth year in a row, Nate’s is giving to NBCF as part of the company’s Honey Gives Hope program, a comprehensive corporate giving initiative that provides aid to communities worldwide.

“Our long-standing partnership with National Breast Cancer Foundation is deeply meaningful to the entire Nate’s team, as we’ve all felt the impact of the breast cancer health crisis directly or through a family member or friend,” said Nathan Sheets, President and CEO of Nate’s. “We’re grateful to join NBCF in its unwavering commitment to provide hope, help and heart to breast cancer patients, their families and our communities.”

In October, Nate’s continues its investment in NBCF programs with an annual sponsorship to support programs, which provide early detection, patient education, support services and patient navigation guiding patients through the complex cancer care system. This month, Nate’s will serve as a Breast Cancer Awareness Match Partner, helping to promote the cause.

Nate’s support also includes a donation for HOPE Kits. These packages are filled with thoughtful, comforting items that are distributed to patients as support and encouragement when they undergo breast cancer treatment.

Nate’s also provided assistance this year as a sponsor of NBCF’s annual Advisory Council Networking Event and by hosting a Fuzzy Sock Drive that matched fan donations for patients who could use some extra warmth, love and hope during treatment.

“We are grateful for Nature Nate’s eight-year partnership to support our mission of Helping Women Now through their Honey Gives Hope program,” said Janelle Hail, NBCF Founder & CEO. “The entire team at Nature Nate’s always steps up to provide help and inspire hope through packing HOPE Kits, collecting fuzzy socks for women undergoing treatment, and supporting our life-saving breast health programs and services.  Their ongoing commitment over the years has helped provide over 10,000 services to women impacted by breast cancer across the country.”

Nate’s has a long history of supporting demand-based needs through the company’s Honey Gives Hope program. This year, Nate’s supported The Juvenile Diabetes Research FoundationKids Meals Inc.Jewish Family Service of Greater Dallas and others. The company also invests in honey bee research at the leading institutions of Cornell University, University of California, Davis and University of Texas at Dallas. In 2022, Nate’s spread a sweet message of hope with financial and honey donations to more than 40 non-profit organizations across the U.S.

IT ALL STARTED WITH A MISSION
Nathan Sheets got the nickname "Nature Nate" in college because he was a nature lover and outdoorsman.

After graduating from college and owning his own ad agency, Nathan began serving in the ministry. He has journeyed on 100+ mission trips all over the world with the goal of helping others. He was also one of the driving forces behind the global “I Am Second” media campaign that highlights stories of hundreds of lives transformed through the grace of Jesus Christ.

In 2010, he decided to make honey his full-time endeavor, and life has never been sweeter. As Nate likes to say, “The Lord has blessed us so we can be a blessing to others.”
