Dallas-based advertising agency, Medium Giant, has crafted a captivating campaign for its sister company, The Dallas Morning News, to showcase the comprehensive coverage offered by The News for the upcoming Solar Eclipse Weekend in downtown Dallas. The campaign includes a massive billboard at Field and Ross designed by Medium Giant and executed by Clear Channel.
Kick off the Solar Eclipse weekend on Friday, April 5th from 6-10PM, with the third annual Video Art Night with Downtown Dallas Inc. and AURORA, a curated video art program that merges art, technology, and the public realm. Additionally, enjoy live music from the Len Barnett Modern Cajun Jazz Ensemble and tunes from DJ Blake Ward. Topo Chico will be on hand for plenty of samples and a cash bar from Henry’s Majestic! Projections will start at 8 PM.
The official Solar Eclipse Watch Party is Monday April, 8th from 10 AM-3 PM at Main Street Garden (1902 Main Street). It is complete with live music, food trucks, family-friendly activities, shopping, an interactive art installation, and complimentary eclipse glasses (limited quantity).
