Insite today announced that one of Dallas’ top leaders in digital strategy and innovation, Nicki Purcell, has taken the helm as company’s President. Purcell has a diverse background in executive leadership and specializes in leading businesses through digital transformations.
Purcell plans to grow the impact of Insite’s solutions by delivering new levels of best-in-class strategy and development services to clients in a wide range of industries, and ensuring clients effectively use the web to help their customers engage with their products and services.
“This year in particular, people have found their relationship with technology to be even deeper and more pervasive,” Purcell said. “Exceptional digital experiences have set the bar for consumers’ expectations, and that’s why I embrace Insite’s long-standing mission of humanizing technology and empowering clients to achieve their goals.”
The privately held Dallas-based company focuses exclusively on web development, business applications and software solutions. In January 2014, Insite expanded its depth of services and back-office operational support through an investment from Slingshot Founder and CEO Owen Hannay.
“I’m excited to bring Nicki on board as Insite’s President because of the opportunity in front of us,” Hannay said. “Her experience in the role responsible for digital investments at large corporations can help our partners understand the value technology can bring to their business.”
Before joining Insite, Purcell served as CEO of Lifeblue, where she scaled the business, leading to its being honored by the SMU Cox School of Business as one of the top 100 fastest-growing privately held companies in North Texas. Under her leadership, Lifeblue also was named one of the top 100 Best Places to Work by the Dallas Business Journal.
Purcell has served as an officer in publicly traded publishing and telecommunications companies. She previously worked as Chief Digital Officer for The Dallas Morning News, Head of Operations for North America at Nokia, Head of Business Development for Firehouse Agency, and Senior Global Brand Manager at Nortel Networks.
