25 College Basketball Stars Usher in new NIL Initiative
Photographer Stewart Cohen of SC Pictures has captured the raw power and personality of college athletes in a striking new series, marking a pivotal moment in the NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) era.
Dallas-based Raising Cane’s has long been a major supporter of college basketball, and last month, they brought 25 players to Dallas for a special photoshoot with Cohen. This was the first promotional appearance for many of the athletes, now that they are all part of the NIL framework.
With a long history of working with athletes, Cohen photographed 25 standout college basketball players. Shot against a variety of backgrounds, whether holding Raising Cane’s chicken or a basketball, each player showing their distinct personality. Plus, Cohen’s use of hard lighting captured the strength and poise of each athlete.
The variety of media including standees will be displayed inside Raising Cane’s across the U.S. The series allows fans to get up close and personal with collegiate fan favorites and also ushers in a new era in financial opportunities for college athletes and the future of college sports.
Stewart Cohen reflected, “This collection of photographs invites Raising Cane’s patrons to get closer to their collegiate favorites in a powerful way. And as always, from the players POV it’s fun to hang out at SC Pictures.”
