CHILDRENS HEALTH “BRANTLEY’S ROAR”
This last summer we completed our biggest budget production to date with children’s health, our longest client for 10 years. The film is called “Brantley’s Roar” and is about a 9 year old boy named Brantley. When he was a child he had to get a heart transplant at Children’s. He has a stuffed animal lion best friend named Rawry since birth. His musical therapist at Children’s decided to put a sound recording of his old heart into the bear, as a remembrance for him. It’s a beautiful and inspiring film that I had the pleasure to DP and our team at DHD produced shot and edited. We also had some VFX animation where we brought his lion to life and a custom music score. This is one of our proudest films of 2024 and in our history so far.
We also did a full scale high end BTS film of the entire making of this film, from pre production to post
COMMIT PARTNERSHIP – BRAND ANTHEM (LED virtual production)
This was a film we shoot 100% against LED virtual production at out studio. We shot this all against our LED wall. The client originally came to us wanting to line all the kids up in a line against a white cyc wall, and just pan the camera across all the kids with a VO. We wanted to take the concept a step higher, so we concepted something more creative, experiential, and pitched back to the client. We decided to put each age kid on their own custom background, and we also wanted to make the film a seamless “one take”, to highlight the evolution of kid to adult in a un-jarring manner. I shot this piece and my team edited it and is another film we are very proud of this year.

And last but not least, this was a branded piece we shot for Etira RX, a company committed to developing cures for cancer patients with untreatable therapy-resistant cancers. This was a great piece that talks about very impactful and important work. Some fun VFX incorporated in this film that we did in-house as well.
