Kalie Whitsett named Agency Leader of the Year by AAF Dallas 

Augustine Agency, a leading fully-integrated marketing agency in North Texas, is proud to announce that Chief Operating Officer (COO), Kalie Whitsett, has received the American Advertising Federation (AAF) Dallas’ Agency Leader of the Year Suits Award. This prestigious award recognizes Whitsett’s exceptional leadership, strategic vision and unwavering commitment to the agency.  

Whitsett was presented with this recognition amongst her peers and colleagues at the Suits Awards Gala, which was hosted by AAF Dallas at The Hall on Dragon in Downtown Dallas on Feb. 27. The AAF Dallas Suits Awards celebrate the remarkable achievements of individuals who have significantly contributed to the Dallas advertising landscape. The Agency Leader of the Year award specifically honors an individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities, strategic thinking and a dedication to fostering a culture of excellence within their agency. Whitsett’s selection for this honor underscores her profound impact on Augustine’s success and influence within the broader advertising community.

Whitsett holds more than 20 years of advertising experience, with her journey at Augustine beginning in 2021. Since then, she has quickly become a driving force in the organization, serving as COO for four years. Throughout her leadership, she has spearheaded numerous initiatives that have significantly contributed to the agency’s growth and reputation. Under her leadership, the agency has grown to over 50 employees, with a 200 percent growth in the agency’s Dallas operations. Beyond agency growth, Whitsett’s leadership has been instrumental in the development of award-winning campaigns, the fostering of a strong company culture, strengthening client relationships and so much more.

The Suits Awards recognize individuals across various advertising disciplines who support the creation, execution and delivery of great creative work from the Dallas advertising industry. AAF Dallas selects one individual from ten categories to honor. These awards do not advance to the national American Advertising Awards program.
