1820 ‘dreamed’ big with their recent spot for Texas Veterans Land Board. VLB sought to expand their marketing efforts to increase overall brand awareness. 1820 proposed a forward thinking concept to help raise the bar. The result was a cinematic approach that coupled an engaging narrative with dynamic visual effects showcasing how Veteran’s dreams become obtainable with the help of VLB.
The design for this spot needed to mirror the vision of the Texas Veterans Land Board, which is that any dream is possible for Veterans…. So, the 1820 team took this idea and literally built it from scratch. Due to the early challenges of COVID-19, the footage captured on-location was filmed in a minimalistic manner as to let the special FX tell the story. Talent direction was the key to make this spot sing since the “Veteran” could not practically see the house being built around him. Each piece of the house was constructed and composited around the on-camera talent. Within 12 weeks, the campaign grossed upwards of 6,500,000 impressions with a 98% completion rate.
