New Advertising Agency ‘The Shop’ Opens Its Doors with One of Nation’s Fastest Growing Brands

After nearly a decade of working together at Moroch Partners, award-winning creative directors David Soames and Dustin Taylor, along with lead account director Matt Sitser, recently announced the launch of The Shop, a creative-first advertising agency based in Dallas. Soames and Taylor will serve as managing partners and creative directors, and Sitser will be managing partner and lead account director.

 

The Shop offers a wide array of services to its client partners, including but not limited to traditional advertising (broadcast, print and outdoor), digital & social, website development, experiential, and media planning and buying. The Dallas-based agency is located in Deep Ellum at 2919 Commerce Street, Suite 547.

 The agency’s largest client is Tiff’s Treats, a baked-to-order cookie delivery company headquartered in Austin, Texas, and one of the hottest growing brands nationwide. Tiff’s Treats has hired The Shop as its agency of record (AOR), following no formal review. The Shop is handling Tiff’s Treats’ traditional advertising, digital and social media.

Matt Sitser brings the best of both client service worlds to The Shop. Having worked on the client side for First Choice Power, he’s also worked agency-side most recently for Moroch Partners. In nearly a decade at Moroch, Sitser worked on accounts like Dickies Workwear, Western Union, Fiora (Oasis Brands), Sky Zone, Wilsonart, Nasher Sculpture Center and DFW International Airport.

 

David Soames brings solid agency experience to The Shop. He’s had creative stints at boutique agencies in New York and Dallas, including Toy and jimbobdallas. At jimbobdallas, he worked directly with award-winning creative veterans, Jim Ferguson and Bob Shallcross on brands including Healthy Choice, Marie Callender’s and The Dallas Cowboys. Most recently, Soames was creative director at Moroch Partners on the McDonald’s account. He’s worked on standard-setting brands including Coca-Cola, Habitat for Humanity, Disney, Extended Stay, OfficeMax, Toyota and Partnership for a Drug-Free America.

 

Dustin Taylor brings extensive agency experience to The Shop. Taylor has worked for global agencies such as Publicis and FCB Global, on brands including Terminix, Nestlé Juicy Juice, PowerBar, Sunkist and Kikkoman. Most recently, at independent agency Moroch Partners, he was creative director on the McDonald’s account. Together with Soames, their work has garnered more than 100 international and domestic awards.
