TONIC is honored to be making its theatrical release on Sunday, April 27, closing out the 55th USA Film Festival in Dallas. Adding to the excitement, director Derek Presley also co-wrote The Last Rodeo, the Angel Studios film selected to open the festival—making it a full-circle moment and an exhilarating week for the Texas-based filmmaker.

Lola Lott, co-producer for Tonic shared with AdChat DFW, “We are thrilled to see the momentum that our Dallas-shot film has built over the past two years and incredibly honored to be part of this year’s USA Film Festival. The fact that Tonic has been acquired by Iris Indie and is being made available to numerous streaming platforms is a testament to the strength of the story, the cast, and the tireless work of our entire team.”

TONIC, written and directed by Derek Presley, produced by Jason Starne and Lola Lott, stars Billy Blair, Ammie Masterson, Jason Coviello, Vernon Davis, Richard Riehle, Lori Petty, and Ed Westwick.

The film will make its domestic streaming premiere this May on Fawesome, the popular free ad-supported streaming service known for its expansive library of hit films and series across genres like thrillers, action, comedy, and romance.

Following its debut, TONIC will roll out across Future Today’s full network of platforms—including Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV, iOS, Android, Chromecast, Xbox, PlayStation, LG, Samsung, Vizio, Xfinity, and Cox—reaching more than 12 million U.S. households. Future Today also operates over 300 branded streaming apps, delivering curated content experiences for a wide range of audiences.

This summer, Fawesome will launch its new Live Video on Demand (LVOD) platform—with TONIC serving as its premiere LVOD event, setting the stage for an exciting new era of immersive digital film releases.
