The Barbershop Marketing Wins IFEA/Haas & Wilkerson Pinnacle Awards for Cottonwood Arts Campaign

The International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA) recently awarded five prestigious  IFEA/Haas & Wilkerson Pinnacle Awards for the advertising campaign and components supporting the 2018 Cottonwood Art Festival – produced by the City of Richardson Parks & Recreation in Richardson, Texas. The Barber Shop Marketing creative team, led by David Adkins, is responsible for the innovative creative in the winning categories including:

GOLD – BEST EVENT INVITATION

GOLD – BEST VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

SILVER – BEST RADIO PROMOTION

BRONZE – BEST COMMEMORATIVE POSTER

BRONZE – BEST OTHER MERCHANDISE

BRONZE – BEST STREET BANNER

 

Awards were handed out at the 63rd Annual IFEA Convention, Expo & Retreat, presented by Haas & Wilkerson Insurance, in San Diego, California, U.S.A., on October 1, 2018.

Sponsored by industry leader Haas & Wilkerson Insurance, the professional competition draws entries from some of the world’s top festivals and events.  Awards were presented in 69 different categories in total including Best TV Promotion; Social Media Site; Commemorative Poster; Sponsorship Program; Parade; Educational Program, Accessibility Program; Children’s Program; Social Media Campaign; Merchandising Program in addition to the highest award given by the IFEA in recognition of those Festivals and Events who have a balance of all the elements necessary to ensure a successful event – the Grand Pinnacle.
