Deja Sanders’ mission is to empower underrepresented talent and brands, fostering opportunities that drive growth and visibility. “At Our Bodega, we believe in the power of authentic collaboration. Our goal is to create meaningful connections that amplify voices and tell culturally rich stories” says Sanders.

In line with this mission, Our Bodega is thrilled to support the launch of Hermanas Amigas Tequila, a 100% black female-owned tequila brand based in Chicago. Founded by Toya Banks, a serial entrepreneur with a vision to unite women under the banner of “Sister Friends,” Hermanas Amigas Tequila aims to shift the drinking occasion. “Women don’t JUST want wine; sometimes we want a sophisticated and beautifully complex drink to enjoy with those closest to us, our friends turned sisters” states Banks.
Hermanas Amigas Tequila will be making its debut in Dallas on August 10th with a star-studded launch event. This milestone event promises to be a celebration of sisterhood, empowerment, and exquisite taste. Attendees can look forward to an evening filled with glamour, networking, and the opportunity to experience the unique flavors of Hermanas Amigas Tequila.
