The Dallas Film Commission is thrilled to announce the appointment of Katie Schuck as its new Film Commissioner. Katie, who brings over 8 years of experience from her role at the Savannah Regional Film Commission, is set to bring her passion and deep expertise in film production to the Dallas film community. She will officially begin her new role on December 9th.
Katie’s time in Savannah has been marked by her dedication to fostering local productions, connecting filmmakers with key resources, and ensuring the thriving growth of the Savannah film scene. Reflecting on her journey, Katie shared, “When I joined the Savannah Regional Film Commission, I never anticipated how much this role would shape my career and become such a meaningful chapter in my life. What began as a shift in careers evolved into my calling, and it has been the most rewarding experience. I am both thrilled and a bit emotional to be starting this new chapter in Dallas.”
Katie’s arrival in Dallas marks an exciting new era for the city’s film industry.
