Check Out a Cornucopia of Motion Control Moves in Michael O’s Pizza Hut Demo

Written by Noonday Pictures

Michael O with Noonday Pictures decided to create a cornucopia of motion control moves for his demo spot for Pizza Hut. We caught up with him to find out a more details of the shoot.

AdChat DFW: Why did you decided to do demo spot for Pizza Hut?

Michael O: I just wanted to try doing a pizza demo and throw everything at it, so I did it in this spot. There is time lapse, moving time lapse and motion-controlled time lapse when it’s cooking, plus high speed. It’s got 2000 frames per second falling with a camera shooting under it, and a shot of our hero behind the cheese pull…you can see the person through the cheese pull. It’s even got a drone shot. I shot off a tripod, a dolly and a slider. Pretty much everything is there except 3D. I just thought it should be a little bit unconventional, an overly energetic, traumatic (laughs) food commercial with a narrative that made sense and have an abundance of motion. I definitely did that.
