Each will feature the winners from AICP’s three competitions – The AICP Post Awards, the AICP Next Awards, and the AICP Show: The Art & Technique of the Commercial.
The Dallas event, presented and hosted by the AICP Southwest Chapter, will be held at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science. Doors open at 6:45 pm, and the Awards Program begins at 7.30, followed by a reception starting at 8.30. Tickets can be purchased here. The Perot Museum is located at 2201 N Field Street in Dallas.
Speakers at the Dallas event include Laura Busino, Head of Production at McGarrah Jessee; Tammy Booth Schilling, Creative Director, D3 Frito Lay; and Christopher Smith, Co-Founder & Chief Creative Officer, Plot Twist Creativity.
In Mexico City, the AICP Awards will be the centerpiece of a day-long event focused on advertising creativity, taking place at Museo de Antropología e Historia, and being presented by Mexico’s National Chamber of the Film Industry (CANACINE). Founded in 1942, Canacine represents the film and audiovisual industry in Mexico. Avelino Rodríguez, President of CANACINE, Founding Partner/CEO of The LIFT and a 2023 AICP Awards Show Curator, was instrumental in bringing the event to Mexico City. Tickets are available here; more information on the event can be found here.
The event kicks off at 2:30 pm with a Fireside Chat on Craft & Creativity. Moderated by Genie Gurnani, AICP Next Awards Influencer Jury President and Executive Drag Queen + Operation Partner, Mash Brands, its panel includes Director Santiago Fabregas; Creative Director Marybeth Ledesma; Cinematographer / Director Flavia Martinez; Copywriter, Head of Creativity, TBWA Mexico, Diego Munoz; and Director Sylvie Weber.
The AICP Awards presentation and screening follows at 6:30, with the featured speakers including Sally Campbell, Global CEO & Founding Partner of Somesuch and the 2023 AICP Show Chairperson, and Matt Miller, President and CEO of AICP.
