T.R. Knight To Co-Star
The drama will revolve around a ruthless Dallas divorce attorney and the unraveling of her life as her emotionally unbalanced sister reemerges exposing sensitive family secrets. The pilot is executive produced by Reese Witherspoon and Bruna Papandrea, and will be shot here in Dallas. Meaghan Oppenheimer, who wrote “We Are Your Friends” is co-executive producing.
Knight plays Mark, a likable guy who isn’t as he seems, and is the work nemesis of lead character Gemma.
Currently starring in another Dallas-based 8-episode series produced by J. J. Abrams, Hulu’s “11.22.63”, Knight joins James Franco and Sarah Gadon. See Adchat DFW post. He was most recently seen on Broadway beside Nathan Lane, Matthew Broderick and F. Murray Abraham in “It’s Only a Play”. Additionally he appeared in the feature film “42” opposite Harrison Ford, and had a memorable guest appearance on the CBS legal drama “The Good Wife.” Many know Knight for his Emmy-nominated role as George O’Malley in the Shonda Rhimes-produced “Grey’s Anatomy”.
