What do you get when you combine one high speed robot, four turntables, and fifty pounds of avocados? 1820 Productions’ new vibrant spots for Frito-Lay. Tostitos and the D3 Studios team were looking for a partner to bring their new campaign for Avocado Salsa to life. 1820 was tasked with making their product appear as tasty on-screen as it is off, so we decided to take this dynamic approach one step further…enter the Bolt camera. Also known as the Cinebot, this motion control machine is the fastest of its kind and adds a new level of perspective to tabletop cinema. The Bolt gave 1820 the flexibility to capture high speed images and forward thinking angles with precision that elevated the concept.
1820 assembled a top notch team, including the expertise of award winning food stylists. The result was two fast paced commercials that each creatively and appetizingly highlighted the product and its ingredients.
