The Agency Partner, T.A.P., based out of Dallas Texas, just completed a 30 second animation for Zippo Lighters that will be used on an international level. As Zippo Inc. does not run traditional television ad campaigns they decided to take advantage of the audience they sell to. Zippo Lighters are sold mostly at live venues and concerts, around the world, and they wanted to create something that spoke to the international audience without using actors or voice over.
T.A.P. worked directly with Zippo Inc. to create a unique and over the top animated spot that took advantage of high impact audio and eye catching animation. The :30 spot will be projected on stage screens, around the world, in between the musical acts. (USA, Japan, Russia, Europe,…) This is a first for Zippo and will be an ongoing campaign for three years. Zippo International Commercial.
