Roberto is a New York based actor and model living in the upper east side. I found him on Model Mayhem, while searching for potential models to collaborate with to build a portraits/lifestyle portfolio. His account lead me to his Instagram account where I learn more about him as a model/actor and how creative he is.

We met soon afterwards for a photo shoot in NYC. He’s hoping to use these shoots to expand his Instagram portfolio and potential casting cards for modeling and acting gigs.

We chose New York City because of it’s amazing scenery, familiarity, and variety of location within walking distance of each other.

NYU provided an incredible backdrop and campus atmosphere. Fun. Free. And full of life. It was the perfect setting to get to know how Roberto moves and works with the camera. He was a huge part of helping me learn what type of photographer I am, and which types of people I’d love to work with in the future.

More shoots will come with the two of us, which I’ll hope to learn more about me as a photographer and create more incredible work with him.
