In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the number-one branded honey company marks 10 years of support for breast cancer patients, their families and communities
Nature Nate’s Honey Co., the number-one branded honey company in the U.S. and producer of 100% pure, raw & unfiltered honey, is proud to celebrate an incredible decade of partnership with National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. (NBCF) during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For the tenth consecutive year, Nate’s is partnering with NBCF as part of the company’s Honey Gives Hope program, a comprehensive corporate giving initiative dedicated to giving back to communities in need.
“For more than a decade, Nate’s has been an integral partner in advancing our mission through their generosity and vision,” said Rebecca Buell, NBCF Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer. “They have pioneered new programs with us—including hosting the very first corporate HOPE Kit Packing Party, which is an initiative that has now grown to nearly 100 events each year. Their steadfast commitment to education, screenings, navigation services and providing hope to women and families facing a diagnosis has made a profound impact, and we are deeply grateful for their continued dedication to ensuring no woman navigates breast cancer alone.”
This October, Nate’s investment in NBCF programs includes an annual sponsorship to support initiatives that provide early detection, patient education, support services and patient navigation through the complex cancer care system. Nate’s also extends its support through a donation for HOPE Kits, which are filled with comforting, thoughtful items for patients undergoing breast cancer treatment.
“As we think about how our honey has a place in people’s homes, we also think about how we are in a place to make a difference beyond the bottle and in communities across the country,” said Michael Carle, CEO of Sweet Harvest Foods, the parent company of Nate’s. “We are proud to continue our relationship with National Breast Cancer Foundation and provide meaningful support to people impacted by breast cancer and their loved ones.”
Nate’s has a rich history of responding to community needs through the Honey Gives Hope program. This year, Nate’s supported various organizations, including Alexandria House for its annual Mother’s Day donation, Spirit of Giving to support people impacted by the floods in Kerrville, Texas, and surrounding Hill Country communities, and food banks across the country during winter, summer break and back-to-school seasons. Additionally, the company invests in honey bee research at top institutions including Cornell University, the University of California, Davis, and the University of Texas at Dallas.
