Reminder! Dallas Producers Association Hosts 18th Annual Texas Production Expo
The Dallas Producers Association (DPA) will hold its 18th annual free Texas Production Expo at the Grapevine Convention Center on May 18, 2023. “In the past, we’ve had over 12,000 production professionals, creatives, artists, gear heads, techies, and film aficionados sign up for the show. We expect an even larger turnout this year,” said Larry Rodriguez, DPA President and owner of Vision Mixer Media.
It is the largest cinema production expo in North Texas, hosting film, cinema, post-production tech, gear, and software vendors. The free event features hands-on demonstrations of the latest gear from manufacturers such as Sony, Canon, Panasonic, and Deity; a full day of seminars on technical and business topics; and raffle prizes.
“Having a long-running event like this in the Dallas area is a testament to the strength of the local industry, its future growth, and its impact on the local economy,” said Tony Armor, Film Commissioner of Dallas Film & Creative Industries
The event’s presenting is VideoTex Systems, and supporting sponsors include TM Television, Texas Film Gear, BockTech, and Dallas Film and Creative Industries. “We have always had a great line-up of sponsors supporting the Texas Production Expo and the Dallas Producers Association. They see what a great opportunity it is for professionals, students, or hobbyists to see the latest technology, network, and gain some knowledge that will enrich their projects,” said Larry Rodriguez, DPA President.
