City of DeSoto Selects Augustine Agency to Develop New Brand and Marketing Strategy
Augustine to rebrand city with fresh look and feel that reflects unique nature of community
Augustine Agency, one of North Texas’ fastest-growing fully integrated marketing agencies, today announced it has been selected by the City of DeSoto to develop a new brand, style guide and marketing strategy for the community. The rebrand will focus on establishing a clear brand for the city that highlights its strengths, assets, diversity, vision and potential with the overarching goal to position DeSoto as the best place to live, own a business and visit in the DFW metroplex.
“DeSoto is unique in its own way, and we are honored we get to bring their vision and story to life,” said Debbie Augustine, founder and executive creative director of Augustine Agency. “We share the same excitement the DeSoto City Council has for the town and its future. We are passionate about bringing the authenticity of the city forward and shining a light on why it’s an ideal location to live, work and play within the DFW metroplex.”
Augustine will primarily manage DeSoto’s rebranding including developing a new logo and tagline as well as updating all of the city’s business materials.
“Augustine has a great vision for rebranding and brings solid marketing expertise to this project,” said DeSoto City Manager Brandon Wright. “We look forward to our partnership with Augustine and are confident that together we will take DeSoto to a whole new level while generating a new awareness and interest in our great city.”
Augustine opened its DFW office in 2015 with continued growth year-over-year. Other clients in the region include Avocados From Mexico and Mission Foods as well as Visit Bastrop, the official destination marketing organization for the City of Bastrop located just 30 miles southeast of Austin. Augustine has won numerous awards for its work including ADDY, MAME, BANN-ER and PRSA awards. For more information, go to augustineagency.com.
