Cuban Says HyperX will be Valuable Gaming Partner for Esport Events
HyperX®, the gaming division of Kingston® Technology Company, Inc., announced its first NBA 2K team sponsorship, becoming the official gaming headset partner of the future Dallas NBA 2K League team and the Dallas Mavericks. HyperX will participate with the Dallas Mavericks at NBA home games with in-arena activities including digital signage, giveaways and concourse activities. The Dallas esports team is the first professional NBA 2K League team to partner with HyperX, and will announce the team’s identity with other NBA 2K teams later this winter. With the inaugural NBA 2K draft and season to begin in spring of 2018, HyperX has taken the lead in the gaming market to co-develop activities with the Mavericks in and around traditional sports and esports gaming at the American Airlines Center.

The Dallas 2K League team will participate in a range of activities with HyperX, including branding on NBA 2K team jerseys, social activations, testimonials and appearances at events, conventions, product launches and custom video activities. HyperX and the team will share social media activities including live streaming, product giveaways and other promotional activities. As part of their daily activities, the team will be using HyperX gaming headsets, including the new Cloud Alpha gaming headset, to practice for major tournaments and enjoy their favorite music, movies and more.

The first HyperX concourse activation is happened Saturday, Dec. 2, during the Star Wars Day game between the Dallas Mavericks and the Los Angeles Clippers at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. NBA fans will had the opportunity to try out HyperX gear and play NBA 2K18 or Battlefront II games while using HyperX gaming headsets.
