Award-winning Photographer Now Top Director
charlieuniformtango Director, Randal Ford has been chosen by SHOOT Magazine for the 2016 New Directors Showcase. The annual event spotlights the top new directing talent from around the world. “InnovAge California”, a spot which Randal directed for the Karsh/Hagen Agency and for client InnovAge will be featured in the showcase. The spot is a witty, fast-paced, and beautifully photographed account of an elderly woman who insists on living life on her own terms.
Randal comes to directing through an award-winning career as a still photographer. His photos have appeared on magazine covers such as Communication Arts, Time, and Texas Monthly. His experience as a commercial photographer made for a smooth transition into the director’s role. Randal’s first directing assignment for charlieuniformtango was working with the McGarrah Jessee agency to shoot four spots for Frost Bank. In addition to directing he also shot still photos for the print ads, working on all aspects of the campaign from billboards and print to digital and television.
